Stay Tuned for the date of our August Meeting... Thanks to Bliss Bakery in Chapel Hill for hosting a great meeting in June! |
Moms NetWorking organizes bi-monthly meetings with guest speakers, Q&A sessions and roundtable activities that focus on topics relevant to moms who are seeking work, changing careers, developing entrepreneurial ideas, or looking for a better work/family balance. Meetings are free and open to all moms across the triangle area.
The ultimate goal of Moms NetWorking is to create opportunities for moms to meet informally, face-to-face, to share resources, contacts and insights that inform and inspire future career directions.

Welcome to the Moms NetWorking website!
Hollywood brought us the “6 Degrees of Kevin Bacon” game. Well, think of Moms NetWorking as “6 Degrees of Bringing Home the Bacon.” At some point in your career, you’ve probably obtained a job or client through word of mouth--- so we figured that connecting with other professional moms could move us all further along on our individual career paths.
As moms with small children, we know firsthand how challenging it can be to make professional contacts and carve out time to explore career ideas while you are juggling all kinds of other things. That’s why we decided to launch Moms NetWorking.
Throughout these sessions, we’ve met a lot of wonderful moms who are willing to share their professional insights and contacts, helping each other problem solve current career challenges. And we’ve benefited from the experience and expertise of our guest speakers.
We hope you will join us at our next meeting! Come see what kinds of connections you can make and share your own professional experience. You might just help another mom move closer to achieving her career goals while getting closer to reaching yours!
